Now booking Conservation Order snow goose hunting dates for the Southeast Missouri Conservation Order starting February 1st, 2012. We will book dates to the end of February. We will evaluate the status of the migration before accepting bookings for March.
IYF will operate two spreads that will cover the migration corridors of Southeast Missouri on prime private ground with no other competing spreads in the area. Our spreads are well equipped with electronics, flyers, and rotary units.
We hunt from daybreak until bird movement slows for the day usually mid to late afternoon. The IYF rate will include lodging at the IYF lodge (404 Damon Dexter, MO 63841) and your morning coffee and juice with a continental breakfast before departing the lodge for the days hunt.
Birds are staging in central and northeast Arkansas in huge concentrations, however the migration has stalled due to recent cold weather and snow fall. The stage is set for prime time action in Southeast Missouri. The migration will peak in southeast Missouri towards the end of February with awesome action on juvies into March. We are now accepting bookings up to March 18th.
We have lowered our rates to book our open dates in February and to begin our March bookings. $150 per day with lodging provided at the IYF lodge. A full day hunt with lodging at this price is unheard of, but we are going to do it to give folks the opportunity for prime time action and showcase the spring migration in southeast Missouri. Also, we will negotiate a lower rate for groups of six or more. We can accommodate up to ten hunters at the IYF lodge.
