Just wanted to drop a note to thank Perry at IYF outfitters in southeast Missouri, for our great Duck and Snow hunts. This was our 3rd year with IYF and maybe our best. Perry worked his butt off to get us on Snows because the weather was not cooperating. Perry actually moved us 3 hours away from his home base to find the snows. The man worked late into the night to get us ready for the next day. Every year we have more friends begging us to join our hunts at IYF because of the fun stories we share at home. Thanks IYF!! And we are looking forward to the 2 duck hunts this season…and Perry won’t have to push hard to talk us into another snow goose hunt in March 2015!!!

I have booked duck hunts with Perry May owner of IYF Outfitters of SEMO since December 2012. We had a 3 day hunt with good results. The pit blind was easy to hunt out of and access was easy by Polaris. My group made three trips with Perry in 2013.

We hunted a total of 7 days and again Perry took the time to find the ducks on his leased lands. Our setups in the rice fields or tree lines were always in the spots the ducks were working. We had good hunts in 2013. You can go to the IYF Outfitters of SEMO and see footage of some of our hunts along with the numbers of ducks. Perry May works hard to find the best waterfowl tracts to lease. He has had an excellent relationship with the land owners we have hunted.

We have found IYF Outfitters of SEMO to be professional and with integrity in Perry May’s hunting operation. As I said before the pits are comfortable, well located, and in good locations in the rice fields. I would recommend Perry May and IYF Outfitters for you next SEMO rice field duck or goose hunt!

My group has booked a hunt at his new location this November near Mingo Refuge in SEMO.

On behalf of all three of us, we highly recommend IYF Outfitters. Perry and his team did all that was humanly possible to give us a great trip. Five star outfit!

I have never found a more honest and professional guide that respects our land and waterfowl. The way he conducts his business is first class.

I first went to hunt with IYF outfitters Dec.  2012 . I had never duck hunted in a rice field and had always wanted to try it. Russ Nanni myself ,Gary and John set up a hunt with Perry for Dec 5,6,7 . had two good hunts and one that above expectations. The first two days we had limits of mallards, sprig, teal, with a few wigeon. We stayed in the skid blind till about three the first two days and were finished by 11:00 the third day. We got to watch great dog work from Boom a young lab. We retrieved every duck that was knocked down all three days which was amazing to me. Russ and I went back for late season hunt Jan 2013 ,16,17, the weather was very cold we went out the first day after daylight and we had birds decoying close due to good calling and a lot of hungry birds . The three hunting that day ended up with 16 birds . The next day we went out broke ice and sat on the edge off the flooded rice field about 9:00 I saw more birds  than I have seen before or since, and I have been hunting ducks for over 60 years, we limited out by 10:30 and went home. Dec.2013 4,5,6, we went back and hunted with Perry and the first two days were great we killed 19 ducks the first day with four hunters , the second day we have 22 ducks and four snow geese. Dec. 6 2013 there was a big blizzard ,snowed 10 inches and we never left the lodge that day and went back to Kentucky. Russ and I went back for a two day hunt Dec, 30,31 we ran into floods over fields and roads we didn’t get any ducks the first day, the second day we got five and were lucky to have gotten any , high water had flooded the fields and had frozen hard that morning .This has been the best hunting I have experienced. We went with Perry a total of ten days eight of those days were as good as it gets ,the only time we had poor hunts were to due to weather conditions that were extreme, flooding ,ice, cold. We are going again this year looking forward to seeing Perry and Boom at IYF outfitters in Dexter,Mo.
